The NADA guide has a canary gold cover and the Kelley Blue Book has a blue cover. These volumes are pocket-sized books that can be purchased at your local bookstore or automotive specialty store. They can also be ordered online. These books list several values for used and new cars. Values are based on condition which includes Fair, Good, Excellent and Show Quality.
There are many places where you can find classic cars 1982 and older for sale. One is your local newspaper classifieds. Here you will find lots of for sale by owner cars, often for bargain prices. You may also want to visit some used car dealerships in your area. If you can't find what you're looking for, the Internet can help you. Many people buy and sell cars on sites like Ebay Motors and Craigslist, so they are definitely worth your time if you are looking for a certain car that you're having trouble finding.
